The history of Micro-Epsilon Inspection dates back to 2002, when the Automated Control Systems Department (ASR) was established within Microstep-MIS. Since then, we have developed innovative solutions such as the Tire Component Profilometer, a system for measuring the thickness and width of profiles based on sheet-of-light technology; the Tire Geometry Inspection System, for measuring bulges and depressions in tires; and the reconstruction of the first uniformity testers.
At the beginning of the year 2007, a collaboration was established between MicroStep-MIS and Micro-Epsilon, which led to the formation of the new company ME-Inspection SK. The shareholders of this company were the Micro-Epsilon group companies and Microstep-MIS. The new company started with 2 employees, and by the end of 2007, the number of employees had grown to 8.

Products are continuously expanding, services are broadening, and new customers and markets are opening.
The product portfolio in the rubber preparation area has been extended to include the Offline Profilometer, Profile Length Measurement, Colored Marking Application and Inspection on Tread, Profile Width Measurement, and Piece and Section Weights.
In the tire molding sector, a new product was introduced for controlling the first tire cast.
The tire finishing portfolio has grown to include reconstruction of new types of uniformity testers, as well as the addition of uniformity and geometry testers, marking stations, and marking inspection stations.
The company is relocating to larger premises in Bratislava, in a building where tires were manufactured in Bratislava during the 20th century — in the Matador area. The production area and office spaces are being doubled to accommodate growth.

The company has received its first customer rating at level A.
The company is relocating to its own premises, with production area more than doubling and the space for development and offices tripling.
